Question Deadline 03/31/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the ENGINEER. Questions received less than 7 Days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove the existing boiler and install a new boiler system at Stikine Middle School. This includes associated hydronic piping, pumps, expansion tank, air separator, fuel oil piping, controls, electrical power and control connections, selective demolition, and all related work required for a complete and operational system, in accordance with the contract documents. The base bid includes cleaning, inspection, and resealing of the existing boiler stack/flue as required to accommodate the new boiler but does not include full replacement of the boiler stack. The project includes Additive Alternate No. 1, which consists of complete removal and replacement of the existing boiler stack, including new chimney system components, barometric damper, roof penetration work, and all associated demolition and installation. The owner may award the base bid alone or the base bid plus Additive Alternate No. 1. Bidders must ensure they have received all addenda affecting the solicitation by registering with the Borough Clerk. It is required to clearly identify the name of the sealed bid project on the outside of the envelope or in the email subject line when submitting a bid.
