Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
As of 4/22/2026, this project has been canceled and will not rebid. This project is for a general contractor to provide general construction services for the renovation of the Center for BioHealth (CBH), Level 1. The CBH currently houses the Institute for Translational Research (ITR) Imaging Center to support clinical research studies across UNT Health. The existing Imaging Center includes two 3T MRI scanners and two Siemens Biograph 450 PET/CT scanners. The project involves expanding the facility with the addition of a third PET/CT scanner. The new scanner will be located on the first floor with the existing scanners and requires additional renovation for support spaces, including exam rooms and equipment spaces. Construction must be performed in an active, occupied imaging center and cannot interfere with daily activities; premium hours will be needed.
