This Invitation for Bid is for the establishment of a contract to provide Clarifloc CE-1668 and CE-1670, or approved equivalents, for waste water treatment facilities. Only the items specified may be furnished, and any substitution requires prior written approval. The chemicals required are approximately 5,000 gallons of Polymer – Clarifloc CE-1668 or approved equal (bulk delivery at the facility), and approximately 3,500 gallons of Polymer – Clarifloc CE-1670 or approved equal (monthly delivery in approximately 275-gallon totes). Bid prices must be net and include all transportation and handling charges, fully prepaid by the bidder. No price changes are allowed during the initial contract term. Product found defective or unacceptable must be replaced within five working days of notification. All materials and workmanship must be guaranteed free from defects for the manufacturer’s standard warranty period, with the bidder responsible for all related costs if City-owned equipment is damaged due to defective materials or workmanship provided.
