Sealed proposals will be received for concrete stair replacement at Bloom High School. Plans and specifications are available from the architect. Contractors must register with the architect, complete a bidder information form, and provide a contractor qualification statement. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the total bid amount as a guarantee of performance. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and a labor/material bond from an approved surety. All bidders must examine the site, review all plans and specifications, and familiarize themselves with all conditions affecting the work. Not less than the prevailing wage shall be paid, and all state and federal public works and human rights laws apply. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the owner's best interest.
