The Engineer's estimated construction cost ranges from $280,000 to $330,000. All bids must be submitted through QuestCDN.com using the VirtuBid online service. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the total bid amount, which will be forfeited if the awarded contractor fails to enter into a contract. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the awarded contract price. The Town of Thermopolis reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Town Hall. Work of the Project includes sandblasting and painting the steel components of a clarifier at the Thermopolis water treatment plant. B. Work of the Project includes sandblasting and painting the exterior ofn 250,000-gallon steel storage tank in Thermopolis that is known to contain lead paint. The welded steel tank has an approximate 40 FT diameter, 28 FT side wall, and a welded steel roof. C. Work of the Project includes inspection and welding to repair leaking areas near the top of the tank, patching paint on exterior welded areas, and sandblasting and painting the interior of a 264,000-gallon steel storage tank. The welded steel tank has a 50'-2" side wall, 30' diameter, 4'-2" dome roof with a 30'-4" radius, and a welded steel floor.
