The Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide mold remediation services for approximately 70 district schools and facilities. The work will be based on the plan provided by the certified Mold Assessor for each project and may include removal of mold and mold-contaminated surfaces through selective demolition, cleaning, and/or treatment. Question Deadline 03/23/2026 at 8:00 AM ET Questions regarding this offering must be submitted via the online offering portal Online Portal Answers Posted Mar 27th 2026, 4:00 PM EDT - Mold Remediation Firm must be completely independent of all mold assessors involved with each of the individual mold remediation projects. -Emergency work will be required on an as needed basis. Mold Remediation Firm must make provisions for receiving emergency calls 24 hours/7 days a week. Firm must respond to BPS's initial request for service within one hour of verbal notification for any emergency project and must be capable of having a response team on-site and ready to proceed with the work within two hours of the incident. Response to planned projects will be based on availability of the firm. - The majority of the work will be performed Monday - Friday after 4:00 PM and on weekends, when the building is unoccupied. - The BPS District makes no guarantee to minimum or maximum amount of work awarded and projects may range from relatively small to full scale remediation.
