ROME CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT invites bids for Plumbing Work (PC) as part of the 2024 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 2 at Clough Intermediate School in Rome, New York. Bids must be submitted with a certified check or other security in accordance with the requirements specified. Bidding Documents are available for purchase and must be returned in good condition for deposit reimbursement according to the outlined terms. Question Deadline 04/05/2026 at 3:00 PM ET All Requests for Information must be received by this date and time. Bidding Documents are also available at various plan rooms for review. All questions regarding the contract documents must be submitted in writing to both LaBella Associates and C&S Companies. Attention is called to the Owner's sales tax exemption and employment conditions, including minimum wage rates. Detailed requirements for bidder qualification include bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, records of litigation, a surety's intent to provide Performance and Payment Bonds, and descriptions of similar completed projects. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the required bid security of at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and disqualify bidders for noncompliance with instructions.
