All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. The line items include: PENNDOT #2A stone, not over 1½ inch, 2000 tons (tailgate spread on various township roads and stockpiled; specify if stone or gravel); PENNDOT #2A stone, not over 1½ inch, 2000 tons (stockpiled); PENNDOT #2A stone, not over 1½ inch, 500 tons (FOB); COARSE AGGREGATE (AASHTO #8/1B stone), 1000 tons washed/cleaned (stockpiled as directed); PENNDOT AGGREGATE (AASHTO #8/1b stone), 1500 tons unwashed (stockpiled as directed); PENNDOT COARSE AGGREGATE (AASHTO #57/2B stone), 200 tons washed (stockpiled as directed); PENNDOT TYPE 1A Anti-skid (Black Cinders), 750 tons, state approved (delivered and stockpiled as directed); FUEL: Diesel (bid price based on rack price in March 2026; breakdown bid into rack price, over rack price, and bid price). For any tailgate spread items, a minimum of 600 tons per day delivered with 48 hours’ notice by the township is required. Bids must be on forms furnished by the municipality. A certified check or performance bond of 10% of the bid will be required from successful bidders. Jackson Township Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids and re-advertise if necessary.
