The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide comprehensive services through the planning, design, and construction phases of a new approximately 20,000 square foot garage/shop facility for the Tribal Roads Department. The facility will include an off-floor mechanic/fabricating bay, off-floor storage for parts and chemicals, a ventilation system, LED lighting throughout, a Safe Wash Technologies truck-washing system, a drainage system throughout the building, and a security system with cameras and electronic security locks. The building will be at least 23' in height, featuring two heavy overhead doors measuring 20' high by 20' wide, along with smaller overhead doors and service doors. Insulated precast concrete panel construction is preferred. Proposals must comply with specified requirements, be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and project name on the outside, and may be mailed or hand-delivered to the specified addresses. The Tribe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive technical defects, and award the contract to the firm most competent to serve their requirements. Bidders may be asked to attend an interview prior to award, and the successful bidder will be expected to begin performance as soon as possible.
