Sealed proposals in duplicate will be received for the furnishing of labor and materials for a new splash pad at the Dover Municipal Swimming Pool. Specifications and plans on which bids are requested are on file at the office of the Director of Public Service. All bids must comply with the requirements of these specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. The amount of the bid for guaranty purposes shall include all additive and deductive alternates. Bid guaranties are conditioned that if the bid is accepted within sixty days of the bid opening, a proper contract shall be executed, and upon failure or refusal to enter into the contract within ten days after notification of award, the bidder and the surety shall be liable to the City in an amount not to exceed ten percent of the bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. All bids must comply with all of the requirements of the specifications and contract documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
