This is a hot water piping replacement project involving removal and installation of approximately 320 feet of pre-insulated steel hot water piping at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The work consists of the removal and installation of pre-insulated steel hot water piping, including all necessary fittings, valves, and appurtenances. There is also an Add Alternate to provide a new hot water service to the Marcus Duluth Cinema. The scope may require specialized welding certifications for thin-wall steel piping and experience with pre-insulated piping systems. Bond Percentage 5.00% All bids must be submitted electronically. E-mail bids will not be accepted. The City of Duluth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, split the award, or waive informalities, irregularities, or minor deviations from the specifications, if deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Bids must be firm for a minimum of 60 days. Contractors and subcontractors must pay prevailing wages as established by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
