The project involves the installation of fourteen hillside shoring piles and the replacement of temporary shoring with geogrid-reinforced compacted fill, as well as associated stormwater control measures. Bidders are required to possess an active and in-good-standing State of California Contractor License A or B. Bids must be submitted electronically via the District's online portal. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price is required, and the successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All workers must be paid at least the general prevailing wage rates. The District requires a 5% retention.
