Bids will only be accepted from licensed septic installers performing at least 34% of the work themselves. The contractor is to provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to install an on-site septic system per the approved design provided by Environmental Systems, adhering to the 2025 MLB Spec Book, MN Chapter 7080, and IHS Section 01270. The scope includes pumping and crushing or filling existing septic tanks (up to 3,000 gallons), completing a tank abandonment form, obtaining necessary permits and coordinating inspections, providing As-Built System drawings, and full site restoration including yard repair, vegetation, and tree removal as needed. The contractor is also responsible for all electrical connections, trenching, and following specific procedures and regulatory requirements. Work must be completed as soon as possible with a deadline of August 31, 2026. No substitutions on specified products are allowed, and a 0.5% TERO tax fee should be included in bids over $25,000. Bidders are instructed to: - Ensure all discrepancies in the scope of work are addressed and comply with industry standards, MN Chapter 7080, and other applicable regulations. - Submit a signed Mille Lacs Band Bid Form, a completed bid schedule from IHS specs, a copy of current MLB Vendors License (or application), a certificate of insurance for General Liability and Property Damage, and an authorized signature sheet if not already on file. - Mail proposals as specified, using only the P.O.
