Site work and paving for a road / highway in Morgantown, Indiana. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
The project includes milling and resurfacing portions of two streets in the Town of Morgantown, Morgan County, totaling approximately 0.35 miles (about 1,800 feet) of local roads: Church Street (south from Washington St. to SR 135) and Marion Street (from SR 252 to Sycamore St.). Work to be performed includes milling the street; edging grass as necessary; milling tie-in joints; sweeping clean; applying tack coat; wedge and leveling as needed; full-depth patching of asphalt base as needed; paving with approximately 2.0 inches of hot mix asphalt; pavement markings; ADA curb ramp upgrades; drainage improvements; adjusting castings as needed; and other miscellaneous items. Prospective bidders must be prequalified to work on INDOT projects. Any subcontractor with $300,000 or more of work must also be prequalified. Documentation of prequalification must be submitted with all bids. For all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. The Town of Morgantown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. * Bidding Documents will be available on or about March 16, 2026, and can be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge; hard copy documents are not available. Non-biddable documents may be viewed in the on-line Bid Room at www.fveng.com/bid-room/. Bidder is required to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site. Question Deadline 04/06/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
