Separate sealed bids are requested for the Red Bay Fun Park Improvements Project Contract "1" - Water Slide Replacement Project. The principal items of work under this contract include: 1. Removal and disposal of the existing slide equipment 2. Furnishing and installing a recreational splash pad 3. Miscellaneous equipment connections Question Deadline 04/13/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. The work is let under three separate contracts, but this scope pertains only to Contract "1". Instructions to bidders: - Bid documents can be examined at Utility Engineering Consultants, LLC. and Red Bay City Hall. Copies are available for $75.00 per contract set. - The contract time is 90 consecutive calendar days. Strict observance of the timeline is required. Liquidated damages apply if the contract time is exceeded. - The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each for 100% of the bid amount, secured from a bonding company's representative or agent in Alabama. - General Contractors submitting bids must be licensed in Alabama. - Each bid must be accompanied by security as specified in the Information for Bidders. - Attention must be given to employment conditions, minimum wage rates, and requirements under Section 109 and E.O. 11246. - Bids cannot be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after opening. - This project is funded by the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF); all applicable federal guidelines must be met. - The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
