Sealed proposals are solicited for stone aggregate. Specifications and forms for bids are available at the Municipal Building during business hours. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Township and accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent of the bid, payable to the Township, along with an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to fifty percent of the contract amount. Proposals will be opened and read aloud at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and is valid for one year from the contract's effective date. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities or discrepancies, and award the contract based on individual item or aggregate quotations as deemed in the Township's best interest.
