Renovation of a fire / police facility in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of 4/13/2026, this project is on hold. Bids will be received for replacement of the existing fire alarm system in the Fire Station . The scope of the work includes 1) Furnish new fire alarm panel and all alarm components for alarm and sprinkler systems. 2) Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete installation. 3) Remove and dispose of the existing alarm panel and all components. 4) All aspects of the alarm panel and its components will be non-proprietary. No bid may be withdrawn by the Bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. within which time the contract will be awarded by the Common Council. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contracts and a 100% Performance Bond with the City within one week after the award of the bid. If the successful bidder so fails to file such contract, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Successful contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary permits and fees. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City of Marshfield.
