As of May 08, 2026, the project was awarded to GRBCON, Inc., with an awarded amount of $2,624,055.52. The Project consists of the construction of approximately 2,220 linear feet of 15-inch-diameter Extra Strength Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) sewer mains installed by open trench, and approximately 305 linear feet of 15-inch-diameter sewer mains installed by pipe bursting, along with related appurtenances. The work includes PVC-lined manholes, reestablishment of all existing service connections, pavement rehabilitation, and associated improvements. The Project also includes the abandonment, or removal and disposal, of approximately 2,500 linear feet of existing 8-, 10-, and 12-inch-diameter sewer mains and manholes located along Glenaven Avenue, Orange Grove Avenue, Midwick Drive, La Golondrina Avenue, and Ross Avenue. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the City of Alhambra for an amount no less than ten (10) percent of the amount bid.
