The County of Santa Cruz seeks proposals for solid waste consultant engineering services from qualified contractors to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required for engineering services to the Department of Community Development and Infrastructure, Public Works, Recycling and Solid Waste Services Section. The selected consultants may be required to provide services including, but not limited to: storm water pollution prevention plan compliance and reporting, construction quality assurance for landfill cover and liner systems, geological and hydrogeological assessments, revisions to landfill operations and site development plans, engineering support for new solid waste processing facilities, design and construction of environmental monitoring wells and probes, aerial surveying and topographic mapping, preparation of plans and cost estimates for groundwater remediation systems, regulatory monitoring and reporting, and general waste management consulting services. Respondents must be fully licensed, insured, and bonded, and proposals should follow the specified format, including all required exhibits and attachments, submitted as three paper copies and one electronic version. Only one response per entity is allowed, though alternatives may be included within a single submission. Proposals should be concise and must not exceed twenty double-sided pages, excluding resumes. All responses must be delivered in a sealed envelope by the specified deadline.
