Renovation of a municipal facility in Westminster, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of a roof replacement project at the City Hall Building. Bids are to provide all labor, equipment, and materials in accordance with the specifications. The project is federally assisted and requires compliance with Davis Bacon provisions. All work must adhere to prevailing wage laws, and bidders must inform all subcontractors of the obligation to pay prevailing wages. Bidders must be properly licensed with a valid Class B and C-39 Contractor's License at the time of bid submission. The bidder must submit a certified or cashier's check, cash, or bidder's bond equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. Bids must conform to all contract documents, including plans and specifications, which are referenced and incorporated. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, to waive any irregularity or informality, and to retain bids for a period of sixty days for examination and comparison. All contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The latest Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Green Book) and supplements are included by reference. All bids shall be based on the content of the contract documents which consist of the Notice Inviting Bids, Information Required of Bidder, Contract, all Provisions, Construction Plans, Drawings and Details, the Bid, and any Technical Specifications, which are by this reference incorporated herein and are available electronically for examination or may be obtained upon payment of Twenty-One Dollars and Eighty-Five Cents ($21.85) (includes sales tax), OneHundred Nine Dollar and Twenty-Five Cents ($109.25) if picked up (includes sales tax),nonrefundable, at the Westminster Engineering Division, City of Westminster, 8200 Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, California 92683.
