This project entails comprehensive bathroom and shower renovations across eight dormitory facilities, specifically all "L" and "G" buildings. Work includes installing new plastic privacy doors on 64 existing shower compartments. In the "G" buildings, contractors will upgrade four existing, non-compliant accessible showers in single-occupancy, gender-neutral bathrooms, including removal of toilet compartment partitions and modification of sink counters and accessories. Work in the "L" buildings requires demolishing an interior, non-load-bearing wall to combine Rooms 120 and 122, converting them into four single-occupancy, gender-neutral accessible bathrooms with new accessible shower compartments and updated accessories. The scope also involves mechanical, electrical, and fire sprinkler modifications, interior finish updates (painting, lighting, flooring, furniture replacement), minor concrete work, saw cutting, and post-construction cleaning. All work must be coordinated with the University Representative and on-site contractors to maintain progress in every building. Bidding documents are available online.
