The goal is to improve street safety in community-selected target areas. The work consists of sidewalk infill, curb extensions, curb ramps, catch basin and drywell installation, speed humps, installation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon, and paving and improving an existing gravel road. The work includes approximately 1,000 linear feet of sidewalk, decommissioning an existing drywell, 3 curb extensions, 9 curb ramps, 3 speed humps, installation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon, widening existing pedestrian refuges in a road median, and paving approximately 300 linear feet of a currently unimproved road.
