The City of Lower Burrell is accepting bids for Superpave Asphalt products and Limestone for the year 2026. Bids will be received until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a Certified Check or Property Surety Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality. Bids for asphalt will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. If the awarded asphalt supplier's plant is down or material is unavailable, the City reserves the right to purchase from the second lowest responsible bidder to ensure ongoing work for public health, safety, and welfare.
