Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ripon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

The work includes roadway and utility reconstruction of Houston Street from Hwy 23 to Scott Street and Seward Street from Houston Street to Spring Street. Utility Construction includes approximately 2,100 feet of PVC water main (4-8 inches) with valves, hydrants, appurtenances, and services; approximately 2,000 feet of PVC sanitary sewer (8-18 inches) with manholes and laterals; approximately 2,000 feet of storm sewer using RCP, PVC, and HDPE (8-24 inches) with manholes and inlets. Roadway Construction includes approximately 2,150 feet of roadway excavation and grading, geogrid, breaker run, dense graded base, hot mix asphalt, concrete and asphalt driveway replacement, concrete sidewalk, and concrete curb and gutter. The project also includes tree removal, clearing, grubbing, site restoration, traffic control, and erosion control. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award. The check or bid bond will be returned as soon as the contract is signed; if the bidder fails to do so, it shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening. Minimum wages must comply with local wage rates.
