Work to be done: Schoolhouse Exterior Painting Project, including doors, windows, and entrance overhang. Work includes prepping and painting all exterior wood that is painted white, including wooden window frames (sash, head, jamb, and sills), wooden door and jamb, and the wood on the entrance door roof overhang. The exterior of the metal front entrance door, rear door, and door jambs also need to be painted. Any cracked window panes must be replaced. Preparation includes power washing, scraping, removing loose paint, caulking seams, glazing wooden window frames, and repairing and filling any rotted wood. Apply a primer coat and two top coats of exterior white paint. Clean window panes at completion. The under-roof overhang, fascia and soffit, gutters, and downspouts do not need to be painted. Painting must be neat and any paint drips on surrounding surfaces must be removed at completion. Deadline for completion is September 1, 2026. No work is permitted during the Kettle Creek Hose Company events, and all equipment must be removed during the Annual Snake Hunt (June 22nd - June 28th, 2026). Proof of Insurance is required with the bid. Bids will be received and opened at the township meeting. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Payment: 25% upon acceptance of bid; 75% upon satisfactory project completion.
