Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed Bids will be received for the Reidenbaugh Elementary School Parking Lot Paving Bid, 1001 Buckwalter Rd., Lititz, PA 17543, at the Manheim Township School District Administrative Office, 450A Candlewyck Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Prospective bidders are advised that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bid documents may be obtained by contacting Ashley Spector at spectoas@mtwp.net. The School District reserves the right to waive all informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in Bids, or to reject all Bids or parts thereof. All questions on the project should be directed to Zack Charles, Director of Facilities (717-802-0846) charleza@mtwp.net between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, weekdays. Contractor shall: a. Mill paving notches at joints, handicap ramps, concrete pads and inlets, etc. for a smooth transition of the new asphalt. b. Sweep and clean asphalt surfaces. c. Supply and install utility risers as needed to raise up to the new pavement elevation. d. Supply and install Mirafi MPV500 Paving Fabric over entire area to strengthen existing asphalt and prevent reflective cracking (10,271 sy). e. Pave leveling course of asphalt as needed to level up low & uneven areas and strengthen existing asphalt (380 ton). f. Pave 1-1/2" 9.5mm Wearing Material (975 ton). g. Seal joints and utilities with PG64-22 oil. h. Paint parking lines to current layout. i. Backfilling topsoil along the edges of new asphalt, add topsoil as needed, and apply starter fertilizer, contractors grass seed mixture and straw. j. The contractor is responsible for the proper offsite disposal of all debris, rubbish and other materials resulting from excavation operations. k.
