Renovation of an educational facility in Many, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the HVAC Replacement project at Bossier Parish Community College, Many Campus, under Project Number 01-107-24-05, JLCB 106. Complete bid documents are available electronically without charge or deposit from Aillet, Fenner, Jolly & McClelland, Inc., or through www.centralbidding.com for a nominal fee. Printed copies are not available from the designer, but arrangements can be made through reprographic firms at the bidder's expense. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Only contractors holding a license under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for Mechanical Contractor classification are eligible to bid. Bidders must comply with LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as provided by LA. R.S. 38:2214. Electronic bidding is available via www.centralbidding.com with free registration. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Bidders are encouraged to participate in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program (the Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program.
