Site work and paving for a road / highway in Many, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Many is accepting sealed bids on asphalt installed per ton on city streets from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The contractor must pay for asphalt, labor, and equipment to dig out and pack the bottoms and seal with proper asphaltic oil; an asphalt roller must be used to pack the top. Bids are requested for two items: Bid #1 - Overlay per ton and Bid #2 - Patching per ton. Bidders should submit their bids on their letterhead, signed by a representative, in a sealed envelope plainly marked "Asphalt" with the bidder's name, bid opening date, and time. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A certificate of liability and workers' compensation insurance is required before work begins. Once the bid is awarded, a purchase order will be issued for the work to commence, and work must be completed within thirty days of the written work request. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
