Sealed proposals are sought for Joint & Crack Cleaning & Sealing. Proposals must be sealed, submitted on provided forms, and clearly marked with the project name, proposer, date, and time. Only complete, timely, and properly submitted proposals will be considered. Pre-qualification is required before bid opening; packets can be obtained from the City Clerk’s office or the City website. Bids must be delivered F.O.B. destination to the Clerk’s Office. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and select the most advantageous bid. Bid documents and specifications can be obtained from the Department of Public Works office. The City is tax exempt; proposals should not include Federal Excise or State Sales Tax. Insurance requirements are $1,000,000 General Liability, Worker’s Compensation at statutory limits, and $5,000,000 Employer’s Liability. A completed insurance questionnaire must accompany proposals. The successful contractor is responsible for holding the City harmless from damages arising from their actions or negligence. The proposed price must be all-inclusive for Joint & Crack Cleaning & Sealing, with no work assigned to others. Any clarifications to the specifications should be included in the proposal.
