Site work for a water / sewer project in Shreveport, Louisiana. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid is Cancelled as per addendum 6 Overton Brooks VAMC has a requirement to replace the existing underground water storage tanks. Contractor is required to construct two new 300,000-gallon pre-stressed concrete tanks with domed roofs. The location of the tanks requires the construction of a gravity retaining wall across the depression in the northeast corner of the site. Contractor will construct the retaining walls as described in the drawings. VA is securing an easement on the City of Shreveport land behind the VAMC. Contractor will remove trees and brush on the easement site to create a haul route for vehicles to access the retaining wall. An analyzer building will be constructed to support the operations of the water system with electrical services pulled from Building 42. All work must be performed as specified herein and shall be in accordance with all applicable codes indicated in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Design Manuals and any other applicable codes. The Contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, licenses, permits, and services for completion of this project. The Contractor must be responsible for all damages to persons or property occurring as a result of the Contractor's fault or negligence. The Contractor must be responsible for all materials delivered and work performed until completion and acceptance of the entire work.
