The work involves the supply of pavement marking supplies. Vendors are required to include licensing fees, delivery/transportation fees, and any other charges, along with a detailed description of the items proposed. Completed and signed quotation documents and a filled-in quotation and price schedule are required for submission. Any deviation from the specifications must be detailed and included with the quotation. Quotations must be firm and not subject to escalation or deviation. Special terms and conditions must be attached in writing, if applicable. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of the quotation as it deems necessary. Price quotations will be considered based on vendor responsibility, ability to perform, total cost (including trade discounts, shipping costs, and life cycle costs), and quality and performance of supplied items. Vendors must also indicate their ability to provide future maintenance, repair parts, and service if necessary. Delivery may be to various city sites or by 'Will Call' at the vendor's place of business, with unit costs for additional manpower for off-loading included. Merchandise must comply with California State Division of Industrial Safety Orders and OSHA requirements, and all products must be shipped in the manufacturer’s original, undamaged packaging. The City may refuse any goods, supplies, or services that do not comply with the specifications, at no additional charge to the City. Additional City requirements include FOB destination pricing, no inclusion of sales tax in quotes (to be added at invoicing), and submission of SDS where applicable.
