The City of San Ramon is requesting quotations from qualified vendors for the purchase of traffic control equipment. Quotations must include licensing fees, delivery/transportation fees, and any other charges, along with a detailed description of the items proposed for purchase. Vendors must submit a completed and signed "Informal Request for Quotations" document and a completed "Quotation and Price Schedule." Any deviations from the specifications must be detailed by the vendor and submitted as part of the quotation. All quotations must be firm, not subject to escalation or deviation. Vendors should also attach in writing any special terms and conditions. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any quotation as required for the public good. The responsibility and ability of the vendor to perform satisfactorily, total cost to the City (including trade discounts, shipping, and life cycle costs), quality and performance of the supplies, prior performance, and ability to provide future maintenance and service will be considered in determining the most advantageous price quotation. The process is an informal request for quotes not subject to formal public bidding requirements, and results will not be posted on the City’s webpage.
