The City of San Ramon is requesting quotations from qualified vendors for the purchase of traffic sign supplies. Qualified vendors are to provide quotations that include licensing fees, delivery/transportation fees, and any other charges, along with a detailed description of the items proposed for purchase. All quotations must be firm and not subject to escalation or deviation. Any deviations from specifications must be detailed and submitted as part of the quotation. Special terms and conditions stated by vendors must be attached in writing and will form part of the quotation. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any part of the quotation. Considerations for awarding the contract include vendor responsibility and ability to perform, total cost to the City, quality and performance of supplies, and the ability to provide future maintenance and service. Bidders are instructed to submit a completed and signed "Informal Request for Quotations" document and Attachment A – "Quotation and Price Schedule." Completed documents must be submitted via e-mail by the specified due date. All prices should be FOB destination. Out of state sales or use taxes will not be paid unless the vendor provides the proper state permit number. Vendors offering "equal" products must demonstrate equivalence to the city's satisfaction. All merchandise must comply with applicable California State Division of Industrial Safety Orders and O.S.H.A. requirements.
