HAWC Forest Grove PSH CMGC RFP The Housing Authority of Washington County is requesting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the permitting and construction of a new permanent supportive housing project consisting of 45 to 60 units. The development will include program offices, common interior and exterior amenities, and back-of-house spaces to support residents. The Forest Grove Permanent Supportive Housing project will serve households with disabling conditions who experience, or are at risk of, prolonged homelessness, primarily single adults and couples with high supportive service needs. The project will employ trauma-informed design principles. The program also includes offices for case management and property management, as well as communal indoor and outdoor spaces. The selected contractor will work collaboratively with the development consultant and architectural team. The development site is located at 3127 Pacific Avenue, Forest Grove, Oregon, and totals 67,000 square feet (1.54 acres), currently consisting of one building, parking lot, and unimproved land. The site is situated near transit, shopping, medical services, and other amenities. The Housing Authority intends to assemble an experienced development team knowledgeable in the needs of the permanent supportive housing population.
