Selected contractor will repair and replace damaged bridge railing and deck components on Bridge #671280 on Stringtown Rd at Gales Creek Crossing . Work includes concrete removal, reinforcing steel installation, and construction of new standard concrete handrail and deck sections per ODOT drawings. The estimated expenditure for this contract will be $ 200,000 - $250,000. The Work to be done under this Contract includes: o Removing damaged portions of the existing concrete rail and deck as shown in the Plans. o Protecting existing deck reinforcement at locations indicated. o Constructing new concrete deck and standard concrete handrail per applicable ODOT drawings. o Installing reinforcing steel in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO requirements. o Providing Temporary Work Access and Containment systems as depicted in the Plans. o Performing concrete removal, replacement, finishing, and joint construction within the limits shown. o Implementing temporary traffic control and detour signing per the Plans. o Completing all additional, incidental, and environmental compliance work required by the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Typical Drawings, and Plans.
