Renovation of an educational facility in Manalapan, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Boiler Replacement at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents prepared by the architect. Bids are for a single overall contract. The Bidder shall be classified as of the date and time of the bid opening in the following discipline: DPMC Classification: C032 with C047. Bid Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a separate sealed envelope for each contract, addressed to the Owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and clearly marked "BID" with the contract title and/or bid number on the outside of the envelope. Each proposal shall be accompanied by (1) a bid bond or certified cashier's check payable to the Owner equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a NJ Statutory Performance Bond and a NJ Statutory Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract. The Consent of Surety shall be executed by an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of NJ. If the bid exceeds $20,000, the bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the listed classifications prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/Classification Certificate shall be rejected as being non-responsive to the bid requirements. This project is subject to the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act. All bidders must comply with all relevant equal employment and affirmative action statutes and regulations. Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and possess a current certificate by said Department prior to the time and date that bids are received. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid. All contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the date set for the opening thereof.
