The work consists of grinding wood waste at Site No. 3 for the Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency. All work must be completed in accordance with the contract documents prepared by the agency. The contractor is required to fully complete the project within the contract terms or face liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for delays. Each proposal must be completed on the forms included with the contract documents and submitted either by hard copy or email by the specified deadline. A corporate surety bond (Performance and Payment Bond) equal to 100% of the contract price must be furnished by the successful bidder. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into contracts as deemed in its best interest. Bidders are also notified of nondiscrimination requirements and are encouraged to arrange a site visit if desired.
