Renovation of a power facility in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Sealed proposals are requested to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to satisfactorily complete the project titled "USI Boiler Replacement 1 & 2." Bidders must submit a bid bond amounting to no less than five percent of the total bid, provide a certificate of insurance with the bid package, and, if selected, furnish performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent of their contract amount before contract execution. The successful bidder must also provide an endorsement naming the University of Southern Indiana as additional insured. USI will maintain Builder's Risk or Installation Floater coverage for the project. The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to make any combination thereof, to waive informality, and to return unopened any proposal received after the specified time. No bid may be withdrawn after opening for sixty days without university consent. No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the contract documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to University of Southern Indiana, Procurement, 8600 University Boulevard, Evansville, Indiana 47712.
