Site work and paving for a road / highway in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Murrysville Overlay Project, Project No. DPW-1-26. The items include: 8,300 tons of 1.5 9.5 mm Superpave, 3,200 tons of 9.5 mm Superpave, 98,650 square yards of milling, 23,500 linear feet of yellow lines, 47,000 linear feet of white lines, 16 stop bars, 25 tons of bituminous driveway repair, 25 tons of stone driveway repair, 2 straight and right arrows, and 2 left turn arrows. Proposals must be sealed, accompanied by a 25% bid surety, and delivered to the Murrysville Municipal Building. The required bid surety of the three lowest responsible bidders will be retained until the contract is awarded and executed, after which surety for remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The contract award review will consider total cost, unit cost, and alternate cost to benefit the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, parts, or items, and to readvertise if necessary. The municipality also reserves the right to waive defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bids. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and all bids must include these requirements. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the E-Verify Program.
