Invitations are extended to qualified Bidders to initially bid for the project: OVERLAY & MILLING OF VARIOUS TOWNSHIP ROADS. Bids will be accepted by U.S. mail, express mail, or in person at the Warren Town Hall, 46 Mountain Boulevard, Warren, New Jersey 07059 (ATTN: Purchasing Department). All bids must be presented in fully and completely sealed envelopes clearly marked as specified. No bid will be received after the specified time and date. After receipt, no bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days, unless allowed. All bids must be on the bid forms provided in the Bid Packet, and all required documents must be submitted by the set date. Specifications and forms may be obtained on the Warren Township Website. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Township of Warren must be submitted with each bid as a guaranty, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid or Twenty-Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), whichever is lower. Prospective bidders challenging a bid specification must file such challenge in writing at least three business days before bid opening. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive immaterial informalities. The selected Bidder, within three (3) days of award, must enter into the contract attached to the bid packet with the Township. All Bidders must comply with relevant New Jersey statutes and regulations regarding affirmative action, discrimination, prevailing wage, contractor registration, and business registration provisions. This bid is awarded through a “fair and open process.”.
