Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marysville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of the rehabilitation of Mack Avenue, including rubblizing the concrete base course with an asphalt overlay, as well as cold milling and resurfacing of various streets with select base repairs and other related items. Major items of work include approximately: 2,650 square yards of cold milling HMA surface, 9,375 square yards of HMA surface removal, 5,600 square yards of pavement rubblizing, 800 tons of aggregate base, and 5,990 tons of HMA, 4EL. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms provided, on a unit price basis as specified. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond for not less than five percent of the bid amount payable to the City of Marysville is required. The successful bidder will need to provide satisfactory performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, as well as insurance certificates. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty calendar days after receipt. The City reserves the right to accept, reject, or waive irregularities in bids. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A.
