The Marysville Public School District's Board of Education is accepting sealed bids for tennis court and practice field renovations at Marysville High School. The proposed work includes tennis court crack repair and application of acrylic surface, site work, grading and restoration, sod installation, and irrigation. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the provided forms, fully completed, sealed, and marked with the bidder's name and the project name. Bids must include a bid bond or cashier's check of at least 5% of the bid amount. Successful bidders with bids of $50,000 or more must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of their bid. All bids shall remain firm for ninety days. The cost of bonds and all applicable sales/use taxes must be included in the bid price. Bidders must submit sworn and notarized disclosure statements regarding familial relationships, compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, non-collusion, and criminal background/sex offender status. Failure to include these documents will result in the bid being rejected. Questions are to be directed only to the architect during the bidding period and failure to follow this may lead to bid rejection. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, or award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest, at its discretion. Requests concerning interpretations during the construction period shall be made to the Landscape Architect.
