The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for approximately 6,070 syd of pavement removal, 20,700 syd of HMA cold milling, 695 syd of sidewalk removal, 1,250 cyd of aggregate base, 3,490 tons of hot mix asphalt, 8,920 sft of concrete sidewalk, 100 syd of concrete driveway/pavement, 230 ft of 10 inch storm sewer, 320 ft of 8 inch perforated storm sewer, 516 ft of underdrain, drainage structures, site grading, berm construction, traffic control, pavement markings, lawn restoration and other incidental items related thereto. All bids must include the following sworn and notarized statements: Familial Disclosure Affidavit (Section 004205), Iran Linked Business Affidavit (Section 004210), and Criminal Background Check Affidavit (Section 004220). The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The project will be subject to State of Michigan Prevailing Wage requirements. All bids are to be submitted, and the work performed, utilizing the current prevailing wage rates posted for St. Clair County, MI. All bidders must be registered with the State of Michigan as required under MCL - Act 10 of 2023 - Michigan Legislature. Bids shall be on a unit price basis for items of work, as specified. Bids shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided by the Engineer. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or a Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to Marysville Public Schools, shall be submitted with each bid. The Marysville Public Schools reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond and Insurance Certificates.
