The project is for the gymnasium renovation at Clio Middle School for the Clio Area School District. Sealed bids will be received for the work as set forth in the bidding documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to Clio Area School District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a guarantee. Each bid must also include a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement and an Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informality and irregularity in the bids and bidding. The owner may also negotiate with any bidder without rebidding the project in whole or in part and reserves the right to award the contract to whomever it elects.
