Renovation of a residential development in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project consists of but not limited to: Interior kitchen and bath upgrades at four residential units and one Alternate unit at the Senecal Family Development. Work includes selective demolition; removal and replacement of kitchen cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, finishes, and lighting; installation of new LVP and sheet vinyl flooring; bathroom upgrades including new tub/shower systems; and associated carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work. All work shall meet EOHLC design standards and current code requirements. Asbestos containing materials are present and abatement is required. The work is estimated to cost $370,916.00. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c. 149, 44A(2)(B) and to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H inclusive. All General Bidder questions must be received by 5/14/26 @ 10:00 A.M. in order to be answered by addendum. The Contractor shall comply with Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) requirements. The participation benchmark for this project is 9.8% MBE and 9.6% WBE, 3% VBE with good faith efforts required. Requests for waivers must be submitted to EOHLC at least five calendar days prior to the General Bid date. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
