Sealed bids are requested for a project consisting of all necessary work to complete landscaping and grounds at 421 Oak Ave., as defined and specified in the drawings and specifications. Each bid must include a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid or $10,000, whichever is greater. All bidders must be licensed and comply with all state and local licensing requirements, and obtain all occupational licenses and permits as required by law. Entities on the convicted vendor list or otherwise debarred may not participate. Bidders must register in the U.S. Government's System for Award Management (SAM) and ensure they are not suspended or ineligible for CDBG-DR funds. Contractors and subcontractors must use the E-Verify system to confirm work authorization status of new employees. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the bid amount. The City reserves the right to accept any bid deemed in its best interest, waive minor irregularities, or reject any or all bids.
