Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in La Fontaine, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The intent of these Special Provisions, together with the General Provisions, the STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS and Plans are to provide for the installation of an aluminum box culvert for (3) small structures (Wabash County Small Structure on America Road, Kerr Road, and County Line Road) with all incidental work including but not limited to roadway approach work, site grading, erosion control measures, and demolition of the existing structure, all as more particularly set out in the Plans. Project Location - 1858 County Rd 800 S La Fontaine, IN 46940. 8285 COUNTY LINE ROAD LA FONTAINE, IN 46940 11651 S AMERICA RD LA FONTAINE, IN 46940 Sealed bids are requested for the construction of 2026 CCMG Projects, which include a small structure replacement on America Road, a small structure replacement on Kerr Road, and a small structure replacement on County Line Road. Proposals must be properly and completely executed on the proposal form provided. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The contractor awarded the work must provide a Surety Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bidders must demonstrate past experience in bridge construction and provide references for five previously completed similar projects. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bids.
