Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The base bid work includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and protection of traffic; temporary erosion and sediment control measures; temporary stormwater diversion; selective demolition of CMP culvert with inlets and replace it with a cast-in-place concrete open top box culvert with hot dipped galvanized steel grating, including bituminous pavement and site restoration. The add alternate is for in-situ repairs to the downstream portion of CMP culvert. Award is planned for June 17, 2026 with Construction Notice to Proceed planned for July 2026 pending contract execution. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. Detailed specifications developed by Pennoni Associates, Inc. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the "Messages" feature in PennBid. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Friday, 05/08/2026 at 5:00 PM ET The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township.
