Site work for a development in Afton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.
The Project consists of restoring approximately 500 linear feet of the Valley Creek mainstem streambank and floodplain in Afton, MN and includes, but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; temporary erosion controls; permanent erosion controls; traffic control; clearing, grubbing, tree removal; soil excavation and hauling of spoils; grading; rock riffles, root wads, and toe wood sod mat; and seeding and site restoration; all as provided for in the Bidding Documents. Bids will be received for a single Contract and shall be on a unit price basis. Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of 5% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities, informalities, or discrepancies, and further reserves the right to award a contract for each project in the best interest of the Valley Branch Watershed District. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
