Base Bid: Paving of East Lackawanna Avenue (Underwood Road to Mid Valley Drive); consisting of the following: approximately 2,780 S.Y. of Superpave Wearing Course 1-1/2" Depth, 2,780 S.Y. of Superpave Base Course Depth, 2,780 S.Y. of Milling approximately 1-1/2" Depth, 1 L.S. of Line Painting, and any related work. The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Olyphant Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informality in the bidding requirements. The Bid proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the Bid, Bid Bond (or other approved bid security), Unit Price Sheet, Anti-Collusion Affidavit and Public Works Employment Verification Form, it shall be addressed to the Olyphant Borough Manager's Office, Olyphant Municipal Building, 113 Willow Avenue, Olyphant, PA 18447 and it shall be plainly marked with the wording "Proposal for Olyphant Borough 2026 Paving Project-Bid Package". Only bidders receiving a full set of Bid Documents through Olyphant Borough will be on record to receive Addenda. Only the Bids submitted by Bidders receiving all Written Addenda, if any be given, will be considered for acceptance. Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wages will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements regarding prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices and related matter, including Performance and Payment Bonds, Workers' Compensation and Liability Insurance.
